Week in Review- corona-stress

This child.  Interesting that someone who doesn't communicate very well, especially his feelings, is sooooo empathetic to other's feelings.   When stress in the household increases for any reason, his behavior shows it.   I'm feeling it.   And with that, we have had a laid back week but I still made sure each day included reading, writing and math.

First couple days were spent with grandma playing various games, correctly or incorrectly depending on what kind of learning was being aimed for!

The rest of the week at home was spent doing a variety from games, puzzles, artwork, work books, and PBS shows.

We also did a scavenger hunt through the house!  Reading, comprehension, and activity all in one!

It's been an odd week for sure.  But learning happens every day, all around us, whether on purpose or not.  This isn't even everything we did- just the highlights.

We'll see what next week brings!
