Week in Review- lots of arguments
So I have decided Eli lives to argue. Maybe a lawyer? Even when he has complete control over his work, he has to complain, yell and argue. Maybe it's just another layer of stress from the coronavirus stuff.
Monday started with some writing and grammar with sight word cards. Mom kept making spelling and punctuation mistakes Eli had to correct.

Then we went in an did a short math "quiz"
Then Eli picked Helen Keller to read- so history and reading together.
Then he wanted to go to his grandparent's house- so I made him a to-do list to get done before he could go. He read the list- did the items and checked them off.
Tuesday and Wednesday were spent doing work with grandma at her house.
All sorts of math, reading and writing activities. Grandma gets creative to get him to do the work.
Thursday and Friday were back at home. Thursday was a huge fight, but Friday went much better in the morning and we got through stuff as quick as possible!
Thursday he read his lego magazine, played the wii and basically did everything in that box, and tried Dreamscapes- an online reading game.
Friday he did his "chores" and then read a book of his choosing.
Then some subtraction work sheets.
Then a virtual tour of the Great Wall of China and some zoo watching of Penguins.
Then spent the rest of the morning watching PBS kids and working on puzzles.
Praying for peace from the stress this kid puts me under. It's so hard some days and this week has been rough even without having him half of the time.
